The New Edition of Cotton Is King Roleplay Game!

The latest edition of Cotton Is King, created by Silaiss, both originally and now.

It follows the theme of. “What if the Confederacy won?” The world is different, although it’s not a radical difference i would say.

With the Confederacy winning, it later abolishes slavery due to it becoming unprofitable because of the Industrial era. Having purchased Liberia from the United States, they proceed on plans to deport any former slaves they have. These former slaves, while not as educated as there plantation owners. Are still much more educated in regards to there African counterparts, with the knowledge they possess. They begin a chain reaction of revolutions and rebellions across the African continent, with all colonial powers on the continent losing most if not all of there former colonies.

Later on in Europe, the Russian revolution is raging. With four distinct factions. The Communists, the Loyalists, the Republicans, and the Cossacks. Going south, Archduke Ferdinand is assassinated, triggering the well known Great War. Invading,  Austria-Hungary face fierce resistance from the Serbian-Albanian Army including a declaration of war by Greece. With Hungarian military officials unwilling to cooperate with there Austrian counterparts, and the loss of land by a Italian invasion. Austria-Hungary is threatened by Germany with annexation if unable to keep control of the nation. Unable to stem the tides, Germany annexes Austria, however Hungary declares independence annexing parts of Austria. Germany unable to do another front is forced to accept independence, shortly after Germany defeats France forcing the UK to accept peace.
